#SCHOOL BACKGROUND
SIDDHARTHA SHISHU SADAN was founded first in Biratnagar by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sharma in 2034 . Although they could have started their career in many other fields , they chose to stay a teacher's life owing to his and specially his wife's great attachment to children . Because of their united HARD LABOUR , SINCERE EFFORTS and DEDICATION , the school soon earned the GOOD WILL and CONFIDENCE of the local people in and around the Biratnagar and therefore soon other dedicated persons for the BETTERMENT of modern school education , started other schools under the banner , affiliated to SIDDHARTHA , in Biratnagar , Dharan , Damak , Hetauda , and Kathmandu and 2043 at Bhadrapur .
SIDDHARTHA SHISHU SADAN , Janakpur , affiliated to Siddhartha Shishu Sadan Biratnagar was founded in 2038 , poush 7th in Shakti Niketan with just 50 day - pupil including 5 boarders in pre-primary . But due to the local parents , Guardians and well wishers , help and confidence in the school's administration , the number of students soon increased and therefore the need for a bigger house was felt and there after the from its foundation place was shifted to Bhanupath .
Today , 45 teachers , lecturers , and administrative staffs of five including a Doctor and hostel staff of 13 , looks after the children .
#Aim Of The School
The school aims at cultivating a firm foundation to its children to hold their duties in any walk of life a healthy loyal and citizen of Nepal and also dedicated to nurturing children into youths , fresh and strong in body , mind and soul , which will result in meaningful social existence and also make them aware of their aware of their rights and responsibilities in life .
To achieve the aim , the school has experienced teachers , possessing knowledge of child psychology .

The academic year normally begins at first wheel of Baisakh till the end of Chaitra .
#Admissions and Retention
Children are admitted from the age of three onward for day pupils and from the age of five onward for Boarders and is open to children of all class , creed and community . An entrance test will be conducted at the time of admission request for admission is to be made on a prescribed from that can be obtained from the institutions along with the propectus on payment of Rs. 150/- . A child seeking admission from some other school must produce his/her transfer certificates , for boarders , a health report is must .
Retention of child is to be requested and made by the second week of Chaitra , failing which their seats will be declared open for admission .
